We usually register domains through any of the domain registrars online. In some cases the registrar will add their information as registrant information to your domain. If that registrar is no more or not ready to change the ownership to you may be in a risk of losing your domain.

What you can do in this scenario?
You can contact public domain registry. They will ask for evidences that you are the owner of the domain. Once if you are able provide required information they will be moving the domain to you.

Do you still have problem in recovering your domain? Let us know about it. We can help you get a solution.
